WATCH: Testing with Terry Flanagan – World Lightweight Champion

Last week, we was very pleased to put newly crowned WBO World Champion Terry Flanagan through our boxing specific testing battery at Sheffield Hallam University.

The Mancunian lightweight took part in movement, strength, speed and estimated punching force tests, before completing grueling treadmill protocols to assess his fitness.

‘Turbo’ is currently preparing for his first defence of his WBO strap against Diego Magdaleno, part of Frank Warren’s eagerly anticipated bill ‘World War III’ at the Phone’s 4 U arena in Manchester. Including Terry’s fight, the card boasts 3 world title contests with Liam Smith competing for his maiden strap at light-middleweight and the excitable showdown between Andy Lee and Billy Joe Saunders.
