When we started Boxing Science back in 2014, there were very limited resources out there for athletes and coaches to follow evidence based strength and conditioning training methods to help improve Boxing performance.

RED ZONE CIRCUITS

Red Zone circuits are designed to push your limits and promote adaptations in aerobic capacity without the high impact forces of running. Also a combination of upper and lower body exercises contributes to a more specific conditioning stimulus for boxers.

These are appropriate for athletes who have added body mass at the start of the camp, those managing injuries around the lower body and heavier weight class athletes.

CORE TRAINING FOR BOXING

Boxing and core training are almost synonymous with each other given the frequent of footage of past and present greats using various training methods to strengthen their mid section.

Our research with close to 100 boxers revealed that core mass/strength is the single biggest contributor to the punching action, highlighting the importance of developing this region for the sport.

In this program, you will get access to a full 10-week core training program, consisting of a variety of movements that are progressed throughout to improve core endurance, strength and power in a phase by phase approach, contributing to improved punch force and movement in the ring.
