WATCH: Boxing Science Profiles – Episode 1 – Jordan Gill

Long-time Boxing Science ambassador Jordan Gill has earned himself the opportunity that he’s been craving and will face  Jason Cunningham on Matchroom Boxing’s JDNXTGEN show in Manchester.

‘The Thrill’ can secure a British featherweight title fight if he defeats Cunningham in an eliminator at Victoria Warehouse on Sunday 25th February, live on Sky Sports.

Gill has been denied the opportunity to fight for the English strap, but victory over the former Commonwealth champion will put him in line to face the winner when Ryan Walsh defends the Lord Lonsdale belt against Isaac Lowe on February 17.

The Thrill’s Time To Shine…

“I want to be fighting regularly and I want to be in big fights,” said Gill, who is trained by Dave Coldwell. “This year I’m looking at all the top guys in Britain, and they know it.

“I’ve had two fights with Dave and it’s really clicking. I’m mandatory for the English title, but Samir Mouniemne vacated the title because he didn’t want to fight me, then Ben Jones said no. These guys don’t want to face me, but I can take a step closer to the British title in Manchester, so things are looking good.”
