Who Are Boxing Science?

Founded in 2014 by Danny Wilson and Professor Alan Ruddock, Boxing Science is a leading organisation dedicated to performance coaching, sport science research, and coach education within boxing and combat sports.

Our mission is simple: to help boxers and coaches unlock their full potential through evidence-based training methods that improve strength, speed, power, and high-intensity fitness for boxing performance.

Over the last decade, we’ve worked with hundreds of amateur and professional boxers, providing consultancy for more than 20 world title fights and supporting athletes at every level of the sport.

Our work has included collaborations with world-class fighters such as Kell Brook, Jordan Gill, and Fabio Wardley, as well as national champions, international competitors, and aspiring amateur boxers.

But despite our work at the highest level of the sport, amateur boxing remains at the heart of what we do.

We’ve spent years volunteering within boxing clubs, regional squads, and England Boxing programmes, educating coaches, testing athletes, and building one of the largest performance databases in boxing.

Today, that database contains information from over 500 boxers and continues to shape the methods we teach and apply every day.

Why Learn From Boxing Science?

World-Class Experience

Learn from coaches who have worked with British, European, Commonwealth, and World Champion athletes while maintaining strong links to amateur boxing.

Evidence-Based Methods

Everything we teach is supported by research, testing, and data collected from hundreds of boxers over the last decade.

Practical Application

We don’t just explain the science. We show you exactly how to apply it in a real boxing environment, regardless of your facilities, equipment, or experience level.

Proven Coaching Systems

You’ll gain access to the same principles and methods we’ve used to help athletes improve performance from grassroots boxing clubs to world championship level.
