Kyle Yousaf has been extremely busy in his debut year in the professional ranks. The talented flyweight has his 6th and final fight of the year coming up this Saturday, and he is oozing with confidence.

His last fight did not last very long, when Kyle dropped the durable Gary Reeve with a left hook in just 90 seconds.

Hard Hitting!

Considering the weight category Kyle competes at, he has impressed me with the amount of force he can produce. In fact, his results on the medicine ball punch throw suggest he is the hardest hitting boxer on the program, pound for pound.

This was improved last camp where his squat jump improved by a massive 5 cm, contributing to an impressive 11% increase in left hand estimated punch force.

He also demonstrated improvements in stamina, increasing his peak running speed by 1.5 km/h on the 30-15 intermittent treadmill test with a significantly lower heart rate. This shows that Kyle is is not only able to perform at higher intensities, but also more capable and comfortable to perform at them.
