On our Junior Sport Science Support Program at Sheffield Hallam University, we incorporate a number of different drills to challenge junior boxers movement and co-ordination.

We start the session with structured movement drills and strength training before moving on to co-ordination circuit. This is fast becoming the highlight of the session.

Here we only put a few rules in, the lads are allowed to explore movement in a variety of planes of motion. This is becoming a popular approach with strength and conditioning coaches working in many other sports.
